A bold new show from the BaBylissPRO Creative Team, ‘LEGACY’ celebrates the brand’s heritage while reimagining it for today’s industry.
LEGACY transported audiences back to the 1960s – the era where the BaBylissPRO story began. Set within a retro-inspired salon, the show paid tribute to the launch of the world’s first electrical curling tong, created by BaBylissPRO in 1959.
More than a nostalgic retelling, LEGACY reinterpreted the decade through a modern lens, blending past and present to push creative boundaries. Big, bold and expressive hair looks took to the stage – amplified afros, sculpted tong sets, glossed bends and graphic flicks, where polish met grit, and precision met exaggeration.

The show followed the journey from salon to photoshoot, before ending at ‘Club 60’, a high-energy finale bringing together BaBylissPRO’s Creative Team: Ky Wilson (UK), Syd Hayes (UK), Álvaro Sánchez (Spain), Tizziana Pecorella (BeNeLux), Ilona Kulesza (PL) and Michelle Sultan (UK).
Commenting on the show, Ky shared: “At BaBylissPRO, we love the 60s – for us, that’s where it all started. When the Creative Team dreamed about this show, we knew we wanted to pay homage to the heritage of the brand – but not as a nostalgic copy. We wanted a bold reinvention, a modern finish to a classic icon.”

Building on this celebration of heritage, BaBylissPRO also introduced its latest innovation: a new range of professional curling tools. Designed as a modern toolkit for curl creation, the collection reflects more than 60 years of expertise, combining performance, versatility and control for today’s stylists. Throughout the show, BaBylissPRO’s brand ambassadors from across Europe brought the tools to life on stage, demonstrating their performance in real time.
