Award season always provides a great opportunity to get inspired by celebrity hairstyles and see which hair trends are set to be a hit with clients - here we round up the best of the red carpet so far.Here are our favourite red carpet hairstyles from 2012 so far...
Power ponytails
"With all the overdone styles we are used to seeing on the red carpet, the simplicity of a beautiful ponytail is a refreshing alternative. Hair swept away from the face can give the illusion of an instant face lift, making this natural style perfect for celebrities facing the paparazzi. It can be glammed up with accessories and worn high for impact, or it can create a soft, feminine appeal - as Camilla Belle wonderfully shows off."

Asymmetric looks

"Short crops are worn polished and groomed on the red carpet this season.
