Aveda UK has been very busy raising money for clean water projects around the world under its Earth Month initiative, smashing the original target of £85,000 by raising £pound;100,000.

A range of fund-raising events took place throughout the UK, including a fashion show in London featuring clothes from eco-friendly designers Back-to-front, THTC and Amoosi, raising £300.

Aveda educators performed hair cuts and colouring for donations, raising over £700.

In addition, a 'blue top and jeans day' was organised, raffle competitions, makeovers for donations, and, most originally, head office marketing intern, Chinwe Jinanwa, even raised money from sponsorship for drinking only water during April.

Aveda UK's general manager comments that their impressive fund raising efforts show that "Our commitment to sheer hard work really does make a difference."
