Aveda dry remedy daily moisturizing oil launches for winter

Aveda Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil is the latest addition to the newly-reformulated Dry Remedy range. The 99.9% naturally-derived leave-in treatment promises to tame and treat dry and damaged hair, controlling frizz and flyaways and adding shine. Providing the all-important moisture is the key ingredient, Buriti oil; a rich, nourishing elixir which is harvested from the fruit of the Moriche palm, also known as the Tree of Life. In keeping with Aveda's commitment to the planet, the oil is sourced from rural riverside communities in Piaui, Brazil. As well as bringing much-needed revenue to the area, Aveda has teamed up with local charity, Beraca, to provide four wells supplying clean water to families in need over the next two years. The regimen now comprises Moisturizing shampoo, conditioner and masque as well as Aveda Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil, which launches in February 2014.
