Bruno Elorrioroz Full Spectrum model.jpgThe seventh Aveda A/W 2011 Colour Roadshow - presented in London nightclub, Koko showcased the company's Jewels of the Earth Collection.

The collection takes its inspiration from a variety of sources, including the 30s and the glamour of goddesses from the 'silver screen'. Styles full of lustrous colour and rich texture were shown on pre-dressed models.

The collection launch was followed by a demo from an Aveda in-salon coach, Zak Fennell, at director of Artisan, Bath.

Aveda Institute Colour Educator, Marianne Hayes and Aveda Institute Technical Director, Bruno Ellorrioroz then presented a bright and lively array of models, whose hair was coloured using a rainbow of shades from the new Full Spectrum Pure Pigments range.

Dressed in highly sculpted conical shapes, hair was coloured bright yellow, vibrant orange and scarlet red. On another model, midnight blue morphed into rich violet then to emerald green.

The subtlety of colour achievable with Aveda's Pure Pastels range was shown on two models - one very dark with pale lilac lights, the other with pale pistachio ends on soft golden lengths.

The show closed with an editorial styling session by members of the European Show Team - Paul Goodier Bea Watson and Christophe Potin - showing their individual interpretations of the Jewels of the Earth collection.
