This not only keeps the hair looking and feeling strong but also helps to achieve a clean-looking blonde," recommends Suzie McGill, director at Rainbow Room International. “Always remember to give your client detailed aftercare advice post-colouring service. Recommending the best shampoo, conditioner and products to maintain their look is key,” Kara continues. "In the winter we can often over-style our hair with all the Christmas parties we attend, so ensure they are using a heat protection spray prior to styling. This will also prevent their colour from fading," says Suzie. "Try to book your blonde clients in for regular trims and hair treatments throughout the winter months too to keep their locks looking their best." “There may be plenty of moisture falling from the sky in winter, but the hair and scalp may feel drier due to the constant change in temperature going from warm to cold environments. Encourage clients to make time for masking to really hydrate their locks. Ditch the drying silver shampoo and use products that will keep blondes brass free without drying it out or over-toning,” guides Brian.
