App revolution

As the 'app' revolution continues, hairdressing is now benefitting from this mobile technology in a number of ways - the latest being the Two Minute Up-Do App developed by Andrew Collinge in association with Denman. Respected for his long hair work the world over, Andrew has developed these four step-by-step educational videos - which can be viewed here  and downloaded via the Apple App Store; to not only aid the training and education of hairdressers but to raise money for the Design for Life Appeal which helps transform the lives of those with learning difficulties.

With educational resources now available 24/7 via the internet, there are no longer any excuses for not having access to training material and information if you have the desire to learn. Continued education is essential in an industry where product technology and techniques are changing so rapidly; and where clients coming into the salon have as much access to information on treatments as those offering the services themselves.
