Announcing the toni & guy breakthrough team xtra 2018

The Breakthrough Team Xtra Programme from Toni & Guy is a year-long mentorship programme in partnership with L’Oréal Professionnel that sees 12 rising stars in the Toni & Guy network work as a team to at photoshoots and assisting backstage at London Fashion Week and London Fashion Week Men’s. As their year draws to a close, they also compete for the desired Breakthrough Champions crown and pass the baton to next year’s team.
On Tuesday evening at York Hall, located in Bethnal Green, the finalists showcased their final looks to a panel of judges in front of friends, family and industry pros.
The teams were as follows;
Team 1 – Sophie Stevens (Southampton), Deborah Cullen (Liverpool Whitechapel), Madeline Mae Saunders (Valencia)
Team 2 – Katie Prescott (Canary Wharf), Casper Finch (Solihull), Timea Csereklye (South Kensington), Laura Everitt (Wolverhampton)
Team 3 – Binesh Purja (Teddington), Tania Faenza (Canary Wharf), Alessandro Gennusa (Hammersmith), Kirsty McNicol (Birmingham)
All teams worked hard to put togther a great show of cut, colour and styling abilities but it was team 2 that took home the top prize.
The salon group then introduced us to the next Breakthrough Team Xtra generation:
