Andrew collinge leads liverpool's celebration of style Andrew Collinge Leads Liverpool's Celebration of Style Legendary hairdresser Andrew Collinge was one of the leading names behind Merseyside's recent Celebration of Style fashion extravaganza. The three-day event saw Liverpool celebrate all aspects of style as it brought together the worlds of fashion, hair, beauty, art, photography and architecture. Andrew lead an event called Influence of Style, hosted at the Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse. Created to inspire those interested in breaking in to the industry and the style influencers of the future, the evening saw experts from the hair and fashion world talk about their careers to date and provide advice on how to break into the industry. Andrew and his team also provided free consultations at their Castle Street salon. The Merseyside-wide event also saw top British fashion designer Matthew Williamson host a dinner at Knowsley Hall, Abbey Clancy launch her new collection for Matalan and WAG boutique Cricket host a fashion night out at the Cunard Building. Justine Mills, co-owner of Cricket and co-founder of Celebration of Style, said: "Celebration of Style has been amazing. It’s been a real ambition of mine to give Liverpool a high calibre fashion event to rival those in London, Paris and Milan and I truly believe we have achieved what we sent out to do! Attracting support from the likes of Matthew Williamson, Andrew Collinge, Boodles and Abbey Clancy in year one has been excellent." This week also saw Andrew recognised with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Fellowship for British Hairdressing's annual awards and luncheon.
