Andrew barton's diary - off to cape town!
It's been a chaotic week. I was teaching on Monday for L'Oréal Professionnel in Manchester. I
had a lovely day - it was a really nice mix of students of all abilities and they were all excited about the day.
I was showing them key spring/summer trends in cutting and styling.
On Tuesday I worked with Ulrika Jonsson, styling her hair for a new campaign she is doing with P&G - she was a delight.
I was in the salon the rest of the week and preparing for my trip to Cape Town to work on a consumer campaign for Timotei.
I'll be working on a TV shoot out there with three models. My job is to develop the brand's signature look to bring it up-to-date. I want it to look looser and freer, more natural.
Some of the shoots are at night, so there will be some long days. I should get a couple of days off while I'm there, so I'm hoping to get to the beach too!
