An evening with hooker & young

It's always a pleasure to share an intimate evening with Michael Young and Gary Hooker, so when the invite came through from Matrix to get up close and personal with the dynamic duo I leapt at the chance. I was a little shocked to realise that the intimate evening in question was being attended by about 100 other people - all eager to share the wealth of experience the pair have as colourists. But seriously, An Evening of Colour with Gary Hooker and Michael Young was, indeed, a chance for technicians and anyone with an interest in how to create great, trend inspired colour in-salon, to pick the brains of two of the country's leading lights. As always, Gary and Michael provided not only an insight into the technical excellence that has won them the title of Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year 2006, but also entertained the audience with their personal brand of humourous banter. Dare I say, they are the Ant and Dec of British hairdressing? More talented, of course.
