The Amanda Wakeley Autumn/Winter 2014 was a celebration of Japanese style - Chi Wong created Samurai warrior-inspired ponytails to match.
The show: Amanda Wakeley Autumn/Winter 2014
The hair team: Chi Wong for Bumble and bumble
The look: A simple, loose ponytail with an inch of binding around the base - sleek at the top, looser texture through the ends
The inspiration: Japanese Samurai style
The key product: Bumble and bumble Dryspun
Get the look
1. Apply Bumble and bumble Thickening Hairspray and Dryspun to flatten hair at the roots, then blow-dry.
2. Style hair in a clean centre parting.
3. Apply a spritz of White Hair Powder to the roots, then fasten a ponytail at the nape of the neck. Secure with elastic string and wrap around the base several times to make the tail stick out. Apply a tiny bit of Brilliantine to secure.
4. To finish, add Surf Spray to the ends of the hair for a more natural, wavy look. Blow-dry in.
