Alternative hair show 2014: stage teams announced!

The Alternative Hair Show 2014 lineup has been announced, with spectacular shows from teams at Sassoon, Paul Mitchell, TIGI and TONI&GUY all confirmed. Returning to the Royal Albert Hall for another evening of charity and creativity, the Alternative Hair Show this year boats 20 international teams who will all be presenting shows on the theme of Equilibrium. As well as showcasing some of the most imaginative hairdressing in the world, the evening is dedicated to raising vital funds for Fighting Leukaemia, a charity set up by Alternative Hair founder Tony Rizzo. The night also sees the presentation of the Visionary Award, an initiative launched by Anthony Mascolo to recognise new hairdressing talent. A team of finalists will each present a model, with the winner invited back to present an entire show of their own at the following year's show. Anthony Mascolo says: "I am truly delighted with the support the hair teams give Alternative Hair each year. We have 20 very exciting teams including the Toni&Guy Artistic Team led by Sacha Mascolo. It will be wonderful to have my niece on stage with her team for the first time since I have been Global President." The 2014 lineup is...
