Allilon education launches new education platform 'allilon +' Allilon Education has launched a new interactive online educational initiative, Allilon +, headed up by Allilon Education co-founders, Johnny Othona and Pedro Inchenko.  The platform is said to consist of a two-pronged approach to learning, offering both virtual and interactive online hairdressing training. The goal is to ensure students are equipped for their ongoing careers in hairdressing education while maintaining momentum during these uncertain times.  The first arm of this platform is a cost-efficient, subscription-based ‘Netflix style’ approach, with an on-demand, pre-recorded library of cut, colour and blow-dry video tutorials available 24/7. To keep it current, fresh content will be added weekly. Subscriptions to this service are available to purchase as monthly, quarterly, six-monthly and yearly. The second instead focuses on interactive ways of learning, including seven three-hour cut and colour workshops updated weekly and interactive one-on-ones led by Allilon educators. On top of this, there are bespoke business courses with Johnny Othona and interactive weekly live digital demonstrations. All classes will be conducted through a two-way video link, ensuring direct contact with an educator at all times. Johnny Othona, co-founder and co-director of Allilon Education, says: “We are thrilled to launch Allilon+ to the global hairdressing community, which reflects our growth plan and strategy of focusing on the delivery of industry-leading education." “As a company, we have always been true to our ethos of sharing the knowledge of our craft, and have had to react and adapt to changing times and the evolving needs of our clients, while also recognising the confines of current and potentially future restrictions,” he continues. “With this in mind, we are delighted to launch this latest initiative, which allows our subscribers access to every aspect of our virtual and interactive services across one platform, to help take their hairdressing education to the next level.” Read Allilon's take on whether skill sharing with other salons is the best way to improve
