UK hairdressing is the best in the world, but it's not just about the top names and celebrity stylists. We find out more about one of hairdressing's rising stars to find out who inspires them.Name: Ross Taylor

Place of work: Paul Falltrick Hairdressing, Romford, Essex
Training & Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 and 3. I'm also a trained educator for Matrix and an extensions educator for Great Lengths.
Best advice ever given: Paul Falltrick said you can always learn something from someone, no matter who they are. He also told me to remain positive, look ahead, set myself a goal, and achieve it - then start the process all over again. That way, you're continuously developing.
Career highlight: There have been many highlights, but winning a place on the 2010 FAME Team was a standout moment.
Favourite celebrity hairstyle: Cheryl Cole. Her hair is big, beautiful and has inspired so many people; many of my clients request a 'Cheryl'.
Best part of the job: Working with different people every day, hearing their views, and learning from their experiences.
In the next five years: I want to follow in Paul's footsteps and win Eastern hairdresser of the Year at HJ's British Hairdressing Awards.
Worst part of the job: It may sound cheesy, but there just isn't one.
My inspiration comes from: Fashion. I keep an eye on emerging trends and they impact on what motivates my creativity.
If I wasn't a hairdresser I would be: A builder, as I would be following in my father's footsteps.
