Guido and the Redken team created romantic, pure, low-slung ponytails for the Alberta Ferretti Autumn/Winter 2015 show.
The show: Alberta Ferretti Autumn/Winter 2015
The hair team: Guido for Redken
The look: Super shiny, centre-parted hair worn in a very low ponytail, with hair worn over the ears.
The inspiration: "The Alberta Ferretti woman is always very romantic and beautiful," said Guido. "This simple look is just that – it's very romantic and pure without being too theatrical or overworked. I didn't leave any pieces of hair loose around the face so that I could create that nice droop in the front and over the ears. There's some natural movement throughout the length of the ponytail, which adds to the softness and the romance of the collection.”
The key product: Redken Satinwear 02 Prepping Blow-Dry Lotion
Get the Look
1. Start with clean hair, washing with Redken's new Frizz Dismiss Sulfate-Free Shampoo and Conditioner.
2. Use a comb to create a clean centre parting.
3. Apply a 10p-size amount of Redken Satinwear 02 Prepping Blow-Dry Lotion to damp hair, working through from roots to ends.
4. Blow-dry the hair smoothly using a round brush to add volume to the crown.
5. Pull the hair back into a low, loose ponytail and secure with an elastic.
6. To hide the elastic, wrap a small section of hair from the ponytail the elastic and secure with a small U-shaped pin.
