Alan d opens new school of hairdressing in east london

After months of planning, relocation and refurnishing, the new Alan d School of Hairdressing officially opened in East London  on Monday 16 September. Founder Alan Hemmings welcomed guests, who included Errol Douglas, Karine Jackson and the Fellowship’s Anne Herman, who made the official opening speech. Artistic and education director, Edward Hemmings introduced former Alan d students to demonstrate their skills, talking through red carpet inspired looks in front of guests. As champagne flowed, guests were able to admire the high tech splendor of the new Smithfields academy, while mingling with some of the most talented people in hairdressing – both young and highly experienced.
