Akris autumn/winter 2015: get the hair look

Guido and the Redken team created silver surfer bowl-cuts for the Akris Autumn/Winter 2015 show at Paris Fashion Week. The show: Akris Autumn/Winter 2015 The hair team: Guido for Redken The look: Custom-cut choppy bowl-shape wigs in a customised silvery grey shade. The inspiration: "The look at Akris this season is very zen and cool, but still very luxurious and a little bit edgy," says Guido. "I custom-cut these choppy, kind of punk-y wigs for each girl and then dyed them a few different shades of grey, so you have this very cool palette on the runway. It's a bit surfer-inspired, but still very modern with the different colours and textures." The key product: Redken Fashion Work 12 Versatile Working Spray Get the Look 1. Divide hair into two sections (top and bottom) in the back. 2. Clip the bottom section down and out of the way. 3. Using a finishing brush, start to brush the top section flat against the head, following the round of the head in one direction. 4. Repeat with each section, making sure it’s very clean and neat-looking when finished. 5. Blow-dry hair until completely dry. 6. Apply Redken Control Addict 28 High Hold Hairspray to smooth any flyaways. 7. Place wig on head and cut the wig into a choppy bowl-shape with short bangs. 8. Spray Redken Fashion Work 12 Versatile Working Spray all over the hair to enhance texture.
