It's not quite trains, planes and automobiles but taking their cue from the likes of Louis Vuitton's Autumn/Winter 2012 show which saw a steam train take to the catwalk, this year's Salon International has seen imaginative brands opt for vehicles to draw attention to their stands.

The ghd Airstream trailer - which has been travelling the country providing blow-dries and styling advice - pulled up on a grass-covered 'campsite' and is giving guests the chance to experience the ghd Air hairdryer as well as styling with their classic irons.

On the Wahl stand, the brand are celebrating their 25th anniversary by giving away a leopard-printer scooter to match their Leopard Pro Clip tool. In keeping with this season's animal-print trend, the bold scooter is a stylish option for any hairdresser this Autumn/Winter!

Bad Apple Hair made an impact with their Union Jack-emblazoned Mini Cooper parked up on the stand - the perfect way to celebrate a year which has been all about Great Britain with the Jubilee, Olympics and Paralympics.

And on the GOSH Stand, a bicycle takes pride of place to symbolise the Round the Island Ibiza challange; a 135km bike ride across the Balearic island to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
