Aidan phelan academy hosts open day at carshalton college Aidan and team The Aidan Phelan Academy is to host an Open Day on Saturday 21st November between 10am to 1pm to welcome new students seeking to get an insight to the college and hairdressing industry. The open day will include a full tour of the college, an opportunity to talk to the tutors including Aidan Phelan himself and a chance to meet and greet the current students. Potential students will be offered advice and guidance about the course and future career opportunities in hairdressing. All visitors and prospective apprentices will be offered 30% of all services during the month of November. Throughout the course, Aidan Phelan, will personally meet, train and engage the current students, readying for them a career in the world of hairdressing. In addition to his mentorship, Aidan will be adding a short `Aidan mini crash course’ at the end of the Hairdressing Level 3 NVQ Diploma. Aidan says: “I’ve spent much of the last ten years on TV shows training, judging and critiquing other stylists; I believe that education is fundamental to the development industry. Training and recruitment must be of a high standard – strong people skills are vital for success in this business. As a mentor to the Salon, its trainees, staff and assessors; I’m keen to share my skills with upcoming talent.’’ If you would like to attend the Open Event you can register to attend in advance and receive a ticket which you need to bring with you or show the event on your mobile device. Please note only potential learners need to register. Parents/friends attending with a potential learner do not need to register.
