Additional Lengths owner, Victoria Lynch has been awarded SME of the Year at the Tees Businesswomen Awards 2019.
The entrepreneur started the extensions company in 2003, using her skills and know-how as an extensionist to build her business and develop hair extensions into a £7 million business it is today in the heart of Stockton.
The company distributes hair extensions and other products all around the globe with a small team 95% of which are women. Additional Lengths strives to bring innovative products to the market and recognise the need for greater eco credentials. The brand has introduced hair recycling and 100% recyclable packaging to their new launches. After receiving her award Victoria thanked her management team who had nominated her originally and commented, “I love the fact that this is recognising women. I feel, from a professional level, men get a lot of recognition as business leaders, and women have the fight and determination to actually be on that stage and operate some really good businesses. I think this is brilliant to champion women whatever their business sector.”
