Academy salons awards 2023 - the highlights

The seventh annual Academy Salons Awards. celebrating the stellar achievements of the Academy Salon Group's Claygate, Cobham, Esher, Hersham and Weybridge teams in 2022, took place with suitable glitz and glamour on Saturday 11 February in The Long Bar of the Harbour Hotel, Guildford. There was a fabulous atmosphere, and the event was compered by Bruno Marc, Creative Director, EMEA. The 10 awards, plus the Special Recognition accolade, were presented by Academy’s VIP guests from L’Oréal, Salon IQ, Savvy Salon, Hair Uncut, and Alan D Training.

Special Recognition Award

A five way tie between Kizzi Bird, Lizzie Compton, Holly Read, Tracey Ryan and Emma Searle, who as Front of House for the 5 salons have set exemplary standards of teamwork. The Esher team also doubly impressed by winning both the Team and Salon of the Year awards. Academy Managing Director, Salv Mulé congratulated all the winners on their hard work and dedication. He said: "It's evenings like this that make me so incredibly proud of my team and even more passionate about this fantastically creative service industry that we belong to. Academy salons has been both a joy and a journey for almost 25 years now and long may this continue.”
