The House of Commons was the location for last week's Hairdressing Council Lunch and Tea - a historical setting and great venue for speakers, networking and an update from the HC's chairman, Arthur Ehoff. As the Council continues its quest to get hairdressers to register - currently voluntarily - whilst campaigning Parliament to make registration mandatory, lunch guests were treated to an inspirational speech from hairdressing icon, John Frieda. He shared his values and beliefs and gave a very personal insight into what still drives him to be the best he can be with guests at the tea hearing from Hairdressing Council ambassadors Andrew Barton and Jamie Stevens. Both pledged their support to the Hairdressing Council and are looking to raise awareness of state registration by using their media status to increase awareness of the campaign.
