6 salon design trends for 2015

Thinking of sprucing up your salon for the new year? Here we take a look at five salon design trends for 2015 that you can easily incorporate for a fresh, on-trend interior. 1. 70s chic The 70s was a key trend on the catwalk, with vintage prints and bohemian styling injecting some retro style into a host of runway shows. No one's suggesting you invest in brown furniture and orange soft furnishings, but you can style bring a hint of the grooviest era of them all into your salon. What could be more 70s than printed wallpaper? This print from Design Your Wall would be perfect for a salon interior. 2. 50 Shades of Grey Forgot all-white salon interiors; soft grey is the new neutral to watch. Bold blues Looking for a colour injection? Bold blues are set to the be the statement shade of choice for 2015. Think cerulean, azure and cobalt - pastels need not apply. Marsala wine Marsala is officially Pantone's Colour of the Year for 2015 and as well as being a gorgeous colour for hair, it's a lovely shade for interiors too. On the Tiles Tiles are having a moment - the brighter and bolder the better. Ideally, they'd be original tiles from way back when cleaned up and given a fresh lease of life.
