2014 global.synergy uk finalists announced

The 2014 Global.Synergy UK Finalists have been announced, with the talented four now fighting for the chance to win a trip to Australia for an exciting hairdressing event. A roaring success when it launched in Australia in 2013, Global.Synergy launched its UK instalment in August. Hairdressers with 1-6 years qualified hairdressing experience were invited to submit a creative two-minute video and a selection of images from their portfolio. The competition's creator - and current Australian Hairdresser of the Year - Emiliano Vitale, in association with é SALON, is offering one of the finalists the chance to jet to Australia in November. Here they will take part in ::SSSHHH:: - an inspiring international event featuring teams from the UK, US and Europe as well as Aussie talents. The four UK finalists will now be mentored, and judged, over a two-day workshop with hairdressing icons including Richard Ashforth, Emiliano Vitale and Lisa Muscat and the one and only Robert Lobetta. The final winner will be announced on the Fellowship Stage at Salon International. Emiliano says: "It was so fantastic to see the sheer passion and obvious love for what they do in all the finalists' video entries. To have the ability to dream and the courage to put that on show and share it with us was so inspiring and a reminder that our next generation of hairdresser knows there’s so many more opportunities out there other than just working in the salon!"
