1. What is your biggest achievement?
Being entered into the Hall of Fame at the British Hairdressing Awards for winning Southern Hairdresser of the Year three times.

2. If you weren't a hairdresser what would you be?
I would have designed or clothes or shoes, as I have a real love of fashion.

3. How would your clients describe you?
Creative and happy.

4. Which one style do you wish you had created?
The bob.

5. Who is your style icon?
Kate Moss. She always looks edgy but with a boho twist.

6. Who is your hairdressing idol?
Guido. He is a genius and I love his editorial work.

7. Which hairdresser would you most like to work with (past or present)?
Again, Guido. I aspire to be as good as he is.

8. Who cuts your hair?
My boyfriend and RUSH Hair international artistic director, Andy Heasman.

9. Favourite part of the job?
Photographic and show work as I can channel my creativity and try out new concepts and ideas.

10. Who is your most famous client past or present?
Years ago I styled Dot Cotton from Eastenders! These days I mostly concentrate on catwalk hair so I don't tend to work with celebrities.

11. Last time you were lost for words?
Winning Southern Hairdresser of the Year for the third time.

12. Which one product couldn't you live without?
Kerastase Elixir Serum is my favourite for my own hair. As I have naturally wavy hair, this serum not only conditions it but can also be used to smooth away any frizz.

13. Is there anything about the industry that makes you mad?
People who give the industry a band name.

14. What's the biggest gaffe you've made in your career?
When I first started it took me a while to get to know which models would work for shoots. On one occasion the models I chose didn't photograph well at all and we couldn't use any of the images afterwards.

15. What's the best career advice you've ever been given?
International creative director of RUSH Hair, Stell Andrew, said to me: 'Enjoy the present and believe in yourself.'

16. Last time you were star-struck?
I've not really been in the position of being totally star-struck

17. Time you were most proud to be in hairdressing?
When the RUSH Artistic Team won Artistic Team of the Year at HJ's 2010 British Hairdressing Awards.

18. What celebrity haircut do you wish had never caught on?
I do feel that people need to move on from Cheryl Cole as everyone wants the same style!  It would be nice to see a change with something a bit more unusual.

19. What haircut would you love to make a come-back and how would you re-invent it for the noughties?
I'd love to see a come-back of styles from the 1940s, but with a contemporary twist such as a gorgeous pastel shade.

20. Sleek and shiny or messy bed hair?
Sleek and shiny.
