To treat people as individuals and take time to find out what makes them happy. In doing so you, you will earn respect in a whole new way.

People never faze me as I work on the theory that I am no more or no less important than anyone else in the world, no matter how famous or wealthy they are! That said, Hugh Grant ran his trolley in to mine at the airport and we had a brief conversation; he had such presence it was amazing.

17. Time you were most proud to be in hairdressing?
When I recently worked at a children's orphanage in India for 3 weeks teaching teenagers hairdressing skills so they could earn a living for themselves. I realised I was doing more than making people feel good about their hair.

The Rachel cut! With so many reruns of Friends it went on and on. Eventually I started to change it, saying that Jennifer Aniston wearing it differently.

19. What haircut would you love to make a comeback and how would you re-invent it for the noughties?
The original bob. With so many variations on texture and shape it can be reinvented to suit the majority of people.
