Guy Kremer is internationally renowned and sought after worldwide for his expertise in dressing long hair, men's styling and advanced cutting techniques.

Guy started to win his string of coveted awards in the late 80s. He was voted Southern Stylist of the Year, for three years in succession, 1988, 1989 and 1990 leading to his induction into the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame

He was the first hairdresser to receive the L'Oreal Men's Stylist Award in 1998 and In 1995 and 2001 the salon won the L'Oreal Colour Trophy - a coup in the world of hairdressing.



Keen to motivate and inspire others, Guy believes in sharing his artistry and experience with other hairdressers, whether it be within his salon, or on his numerous overseas shows and seminars.

What is your biggest achievement?

Being made Fellowship British Hairdresser of the year in 1997 when I created one of my most beautiful collections, also being made Fellow with Honours.


If you weren't a hairdresser, what would you be?

A fashion designer or florist, I lover arranging my own flowers at home

Enigmatic

Twiggy's Short Crop, it was the liberation for women and the beginning of short precision haircutting

Agnyes Deyn

Who is your hairdressing idol?

Vidal Sassoon for his amazing talent and for being such a lovely person

Which hairdresser would you most like to work with (past or present)?

Alexandre de Paris - He drew every hairstyle he created, a true artiste

Who cuts your hair?

Jonny Engstrom, my Artistic Director

Favourite part of the job?

The beginning to end of a haircut and style


Who is your most famous client past or present?

Roger Waters

Last time you were lost for words?

Seeing the magnificence of the Taj Mahal

Which one product couldn't you live without?

Tecni.Art Anti frizz hairspray

Is there anything about the industry that makes you mad?

Getting wrong credits on pictures


What is the biggest gaffe you have made in your career?



When I first started hairdressing, winding a perm with too tight elastic. I ended up with a short crop


What's the best career advice you've ever been given?

Work hard and don't expect anything back


Last time you were star-struck?

Meeting all the stars when I was on the Red Carpet with Ruby Wax

Time you were most proud to be in hairdressing?

When I opened my own salon

What celebrity haircut do you wish had never caught on?

Posh Spice, because so many women ended up looking like cocker spaniels


What haircut would you love to make a come-back and how would you re-invent it for the noughties?

Bridget Bardot, but making it more soft and feminine without all that back combing
