Bringing to life the discipline, methodology and creativity that has kept the Vidal Sassoon Academy at the forefront of hair education for the last six decades, members of the International Colour and Creative Teams will be championing individual looks at Salon International 2026 that show how to create modern, desirable, ‘mood’ hair.

 “Of course, we are always inspired by our heritage and that will find its way into our new ideas, in cool and maybe unexpected ways,” says International Creative Director Mark Hayes.

The opportunity to be purely creative. Being able to present your work and share your ideas in that environment is incredibly powerful. Now my role is different, but Salon International still represents that moment where creativity takes centre stage. It’s one of the few times in the year when the entire creative team is together in the same room. It gives us the chance to take all the inspiration we’re constantly collecting and distil it into a single presentation.
