What is the event about?

Salon International is a professionals-only exhibition that enables hair professionals to network, learn and discover what is new on the market and the trends to look out for in the industry. The aim of the exhibition is to unite the international community of professional hairdressers with the brands that uphold and uplift the industry. It is the perfect place to discover the latest innovations in hair products and services, whilst being updated on forthcoming trends and education. Salon International welcomes all professionals from the hairdressing industry including senior buyers, salon owners, hairdressers, hair stylists, students, apprentices, colour technicians, barbers and more.

Who should visit the event?

Salon International is a professionals-only exhibition. Salon International welcomes all professionals from the hairdressing industry including senior buyers, salon owners, hairdressers, hair stylists, students, apprentices, colour technicians, barbers and more.

Will there be any seminars, workshops or demonstrations?

Yes, there will be seminars, workshops and live demonstrations at the show. There will be a 3-day Business Live programme, six free live stages courtesy of Hairdressers Journal and Modern Barber, and a Salon Masterclass schedule throughout the event as well as stages on exhibitor stands happening all hours of the day throughout the weekend.

Is there an Event Guide?

How do I get tickets?

Salon International tickets are available now. You can purchase one-day, two-day or three-day tickets to Salon International 2025 here.

Where is my ticket?

Tickets are electronic only this year and will be included in the confirmation email of the lead booker. Tickets will not be posted and there will be no ticket collection at the show.

Can I bring my colleague and/or friend?

Salon International is open to professionals in the hairdressing industry only, so please only bring people who are also within the trade.

Can my children visit the event with me?

Salon International is a professional only event. Children under the age of 14 are not admitted.

What is the entrance policy?

Salon International is a trade event for hairdressing professionals only. No person under the age of 14 will be permitted entry to the show. Management reserves the right to request proof of age from individuals who look under 14 and refuse entry if this is not provided. 

STUDENT POLICY

If I am a student can I attend?

Yes. As long as you are a student in the hair industry you can take advantage of student tickets and other benefits available on the Monday. You must have a valid student ID in order to purchase a student ticket. 

What's on for colleges at the show?

There will be lots on for colleges at the show.

We will release a 'College Hair Journey' map highlighting the key brands that want to meet students at the show, expect huge discounts, giveaways, competitions and photo opportunities for the best hair day out!

Yes. Salon International has a wealth of networking opportunities for overseas visitors and has a host of international brands. Salon Masterclasses and Business Live are two key features that attract international interest, and with the free education amongst many other exciting features, it is one of the best shows to discover the latest trends and innovations in the hairdressing industry.

TICKET FAQs

What do I do if my tickets haven't arrived?

Tickets are electronic only this year and will be issued in your confirmation email before the show to the lead booker. Tickets will not be posted.

What happens if I forget/lose my ticket?

Your ticket will be issued via email to the lead booker and can be scanned from a phone or tablet for entry. Please bring your electronic ticket with you on a phone or tablet for entry.

What if someone else's name is on my ticket/the name on my ticket is incorrect?

Your entrance ticket will reflect the name given when your ticket was allocated by the leader booker. Once tickets have been received we are not able to change the name on the ticket.

How can I purchase more tickets before the show?

To make the most of pre-show offers make sure to purchase your ticket online before attending the exhibition, however tickets will also be available to purchase throughout the event by visiting our ticket office in the boulevard. Please note, all advance rates, discount codes and promotions will be subject to expiration.

Why is my discount code not working?

Where do I collect my tickets?

What is your refund policy?

All payments are non-refundable. Any requests for refunds will be reviewed after Salon International 2024 and must be received within 21 days following the event. Refunds will be reviewed by management with no guarantee of a reimbursement. 

ACCESS AND FACILITIES

Can I access an internet connection?

The venue does have free wifi, you just need to sign in to '_ExCeL FREE Wi-Fi' using a standard log in, or via LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter, however a stronger internet connection is available on the lower ground floor and on the business services internet pods.

Are pushchairs allowed into the exhibition halls?

Salon International is a trade event for hairdressing professionals only. No person under the age of 14 will be permitted entry to the show. Management reserves the right to request proof of age from individuals who look under 14 and refuse entry if this is not provided. 

Is there a cloakroom?

There is a cloakroom in the Boulevard which is operated by ExCeL London. Venue cloakrooms are open during event hours and are provided complimentary (subject to availability). The cloakrooms are located on level 0 (down the stairs, in between hall entrances N4 & S4) and at the east end of the venue on level 0.
