Neil smith travels from leicester to los angeles with eufora

Neil Smith recently switched Leicester for Los Angeles, as he was invited out to Hollywood to present for American hair brand, Eufora. The stylist, who works at Barrie Stephen in the village of Anstey, was asked to present an hour-long show to an audience of 2,000 delegates at the annual gathering. And, despite being far from home, Neil brought a bit of Leicester to the limelight with models dressed in outfits created by graduates of the Leicester De Montfort University Fashion course. As well as presenting on stage, Neil also gave an up-close seminar to 80 delegates, explaining how to recreate his looks and transform them into salon-friendly styles. Neil says: "This is by far the biggest event I’ve had to present on my own. I thought I’d bring a bit of home with me too. We work with the university each year styling their graduate shows and fashion course brochures, and use their clothes in hairdressing competitions and shoots, so it figured to bring their stunning clothes over with me as well. I can’t believe they picked me to showcase a British take on hair, but am very grateful as it was an amazing experience."
