Owner and proprietor of the Teddy Edwards brand, Alex has been involved with Matakki Scissors for a long while, cutting and presenting on many of our previous show stages. Alex himself has worked in many huge events and has been nominated for a plethora of awards, most recently he secured nominations from the modern barber awards and was shortlisted for the best all around barber as a finalist.Teddy Edwards has also secured 2 shop nominations from modern barber as well, best Client experience and best shop interior!

Oliver Hill is co-founder of MaxOliver, renowned for its in-house training program, sharing the highest modern barbering techniques to date. As of Education, Oliver has most recently been nominated for Men's Specialist of the Year at Creative HEAD Most Wanted, Best Training at the Modern Barber Awards and won Men’s Specialist Salon of the Year at the Hair Awards 2023.

Hannah McKnight is a multifaceted hair professional who has been in the hair industry for over 20 years. She is the owner of Nu: Era Barbershop in the West Midlands where she has a small but high quality team of female barbers working along her and also works as a full time educator, assessor and Quality Assurer for the barbering industry ensuring that the next generation of hair professionals are receiving the best quality education and keeping industry standards to the highest level .

Jai-li Rayneau is a qualified hairdresser, braider/loctician and barber. She currently works at ‘Hairjessers’ and ‘Doitfortheart Studio’ in Milton Keynes.
I’m Auburne, I’ve been cutting professionally for 1 1⁄2 years, in that time gaining experience and traction from the barbering community. I achieved runner up at the ‘Raw Talent’ competition in 2023. I’m looking forward to bringing ‘Gen Z’ females into a male dominated space, despite the endless hair splinters.

After moving from Romania to the UK, I immediately focused on my barber education at the London School of Barbering. I quickly honed my unique skills and utilized social media to grow my clientele. After winning my first competition as a Raw Talent, I was entered into the 2025 Barber of the Year contest and had the opportunity to perform at Modern Barber, sharing my knowledge with others.
Located in Manchester and crowned Modern Barber Raw Talent winner, Ayeesha specialises in bringing bold visions to life through creative colour designs, prestige scissor cuts, and immaculately clean fades. Blending artistry with precision, what will she bring to the stage this time?!
