London fashion week ss16: preen with james pecis for babyliss pro

New York-based session stylist, James Pecis created a ‘model’s day off’ look to compliment PREEN by Thornton Bregazzi’s stunning collection at London Fashion Week. Designers Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi said, “For us the modern woman embraces her femininity and combines masculinity with ruffles, flowing dresses with flat oxfords. It's all about expressing her femininity with a tough modern attitude.” With inspiration gleaned from the designers’ quote, 'You are a Graphic Romantic; Be sharp as glass and as fresh as air', James said, “I wanted a light, airy, clean feel to the hair so all models were prepped and dried using the BaByliss PRO ItaliaBRAVA dryer, but there was no uniform look for this collection. It’s about bringing out what is special to each girl, what makes her individual. I used different sized BaByliss PRO Titanium Expression Curling Tongs and the Ultimate Styler to work with each girl’s hair. If she had a natural bend we just emphasised it with a 32 or 38mm tong, depending on the length or texture of the hair.”
