Are you thinking about entering Trend Image of the Year at HJ's British Hairdressing Awards 2024? Here's what you need to know:
- This category is open to freelance, self-employed and salonbased hairdressers who are either training or qualified.
- You need to supply a single 10” x 8” image showing
commercial, wearable hair that reflects current trends. - This image can be entered into any other category.
- Only one entry is permitted per stylist.
- Should you go through to the second round, you will not be required to enter any further images.
- Entrants can use wigs and/or hairpieces, but the image must
show consumer-friendly hair and should not be avant garde
How to Enter
1: Decide which category, or categories, you want to enter
2: Read the general entry guidelines for entry from the downloadable form here
3: Read the entry guidelines for your specific category, or categories
4: Give your photographer a copy of the photographer’s guidelines, ahead of your photoshoot to sign.
5. Enter through the Evessio page, submitting your details and uploading your images and videos (We will need you to submit; 4 final images, 4 pre-production/ un-retouched images, image of model pre hair and make up, 4 videos of your final image (filming on your phone is fine).
6. Send your physical images, crib sheet and photographers declaration to Lizzi Brady, British Hairdressing Awards, Hairdressers Journal International, M Squared Media, Allington House, 25 High Street, Wimbledon, SW19 5DX
