Greg Williams

Greg Williams is the only member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons who performs hair transplant surgery on a full-time basis in the UK. He over 20 years experience in hair restoration not only for genetic male and female hair loss, but also for reconstruction post trauma and burns. He is the only BUPA recognised provider in the UK for gender dysphoria hairline feminisation.

Greg is the current Vice President and Past President of the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS) and Secretary of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). He is passionate about standards, regulation and education. He was the Program Chair of the 2023 ISHRS World Congress, has chaired the ISHRS Ethics Committee, and is the current chair of the ISHRS Guidelines Oversight Committee.

He participates in hair related research, collaborating with Imperial College, and has been the recipient of several ISHRS research grants. He has published widely on subjects to do with hair loss and hair restoration.

Greg has also been the Editor of the Independent Doctors Federation Annual Journal for the past 6 years.
