Wella professionals trendvision award 2018 uk regional winners announced

The Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2018 UK Finalists have been announced at the recent regional heats that have taken place throughout the country. The regional heats took place in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Birmingham, where finalists presented their models in a bid to be recognised as the next big name in British hairdressing. In addition, the events included The Mentors Show, from award-winning hairdressing icons including Bruce Masefield, Darren Ambrose, Akin Konizi, Robert Eaton, Leonardo Rizzo, Charlie Taylor, Paul Adamczuk, Jayson Gray, Bruno Marc and Cos Sakkas. From hundreds of photographic entries, a shortlist of finalists were selected to present their look at the Regional Heats. Now 48 UK finalists will go on to compete to win the chance to represent the UK at the TrendVision Award UK & Ireland Final, held on 8 October 2018 at The Roundhouse, Camden, London. For TrendVision 2018, there are two international categories; Color Vision and Creative Vision, whereby the UK and Ireland winners will go on to a mentoring retreat at the International final in Lisbon, Portugal, in November 2018. In addition, there are two exclusive UK & Ireland categories; Male Grooming and Runway. All winners will now experience exclusive mentoring with some of Wella’s leading hairdressing icons to help prepare them for the UK & Ireland final. A wide range of highly acclaimed hairdressing experts judged the regional heats, and Wella’s director of education, Sheila Jackson, said the level of creativity this year was exceptionally impressive. “The UK regional heats have been brilliant, and we’ve been so impressed by the standard of the work we’re seeing. For the first time this year we offered competitors the chance to attend a ‘Create Your Look’ photographic session at one of the Wella Studios, which has resulted in some truly impressive results,” said Sheila.
