Fame team 2016 judging gets underway FAME TEAM 2016 Judging Gets Underway The first round of judging for a place on the FAME Team 2016 has taken place, with 16 successful applicants now going forward to the semi-finals. Young hairdressers from across the country attended the auditions, each battling it out for a spot on hairdressing's ultimate talent team. The team, which is just one of the training programmes arranged by the Fellowship for British Hairdressing, has more than 20 years of heritage honing hairdressing's leading names. Adam Reed, Errol Douglas and Umberto Giannini are just some of the names that passed through the FAME Team, proving just what a coveted scheme it is. Fellowship chancellor Karine Jackson organised the first round of judging, which took place at Wella Studios in London. With only 16 places available it was up to Bruno Marc, Errol Douglas MBE, Andreas Stavrou, Michelle Griffin, Gary France, Karen Dodds, Katie Mulcahy and project leader Antony Licata to begin the selection process. The 16 successful applicants who go through to the semi-finals on 22 September, are: Victoria Stevens, Tops Hair Salon, Wiltshire Emma Holmes, Daniel Granger Hairdressing, Northampton Jamie Benny, Rush, Baker Street, London Melissa Timperley, Sassoon Salon, Manchester Jordanna Cobella, Cobella, London Alfie Pfeffer, Headmasters, Brighton James Earnshaw, Francesco Advanced Academy, Stafford Casey Coleman, Ocean Hairdressing, Cardiff Nestor Sanchez, HOB, Camden, London Ashley James Cockrell, Headmasters, Soho, London Marie Anderson, Gary Ingham Salon & Spa, Hampstead, London Zoe Williams, Ken Picton, Cardiff Patrick John McDougall, Rainbow Room International, Glasgow Matthew Gavin, Christian Wiles Hairdressing, Northampton Gavin McIntyre, G & E McIntyres, Northampton Rosie Binns, Ethos Hairdressing, Manchester Fellowship president Bruno Marc said: "It is fantastic being a part of the judging this year and to see such great talent.
