The first round of judging for a place on the FAME Team 2016 has taken place, with 16 successful applicants now going forward to the semi-finals.
Young hairdressers from across the country attended the auditions, each battling it out for a spot on hairdressing's ultimate talent team.
The team, which is just one of the training programmes arranged by the Fellowship for British Hairdressing, has more than 20 years of heritage honing hairdressing's leading names. Adam Reed, Errol Douglas and Umberto Giannini are just some of the names that passed through the FAME Team, proving just what a coveted scheme it is.
Fellowship chancellor Karine Jackson organised the first round of judging, which took place at Wella Studios in London. With only 16 places available it was up to Bruno Marc, Errol Douglas MBE, Andreas Stavrou, Michelle Griffin, Gary France, Karen Dodds, Katie Mulcahy and project leader Antony Licata to begin the selection process.
