At Salon North, The National Hairdressers’ Federation will be hosting a series of informative workshops designed to help salon owners and their teams reach their full potential. Here is just a selection of some of the speakers who will be sharing their expertise. Adam Chatterley, Founder, Salon Business Secrets will look at the importance of pricing and how the price you charge for your treatments and services can make a huge difference to your salon. “Getting your prices wrong can put you out of business, getting them right can give you the business you dream of,” says Adam. Hair and beauty salon consultant, Ryan Fox, will talk about the importance of having a training and development plan. “Not only does it enable the team to receive the development and skills training they need to progress, but also ensures the business is up to date with the latest growth opportunities and trends,” says Ryan. Penny Etheridge of the Radiant Hair Consultancy will advise on why it’s worth having a policy in place for discovering why a regular client has left you. “Do you have a proactive strategy in place to deal with client loss or do you just cross your fingers that it doesn’t happen again?” asks Penny. Clare Cockell, Founder and CEO of The Reef will look at how to build a positive and supportive team that want to inspire and motivate one another - a team that will offer good customer service to every customer who walks through your door, and work towards growing a successful business with you. Valerie Delforge, Founder and CEO of Delforge + Co will share her views on the damage a difficult team member can cause and how you can take control of the situation.
