Colour supremo Josh Wood worked his magic for Prada's Spring/Summer 2014 show, colouring an unprecedented 47 models over a 24-hour period.
Even in a season which has seen colour well and truly return to the runways - in the form of
pastels and
stripes, as well as the perennially
bright and beautiful model Chloe Norgaard - this was an ambitious undertaking, with every single model in the show being transformed with one of four shades.
Using Wella Professionals Illumina Color, Josh and his team created what he described as 'flat but vivid' hair in brunette, red and blonde shades for an 'unnatural natural' finish.
"We’ve taken away what you’d normally add to color, like highlights and depth," he told Style.com. "The idea is to create an illustration of a girl—[similar to] how you would draw or paint hair."
Styling for the show came courtesy of Guido Palau, who created tough girl-gang side-parted swoops with Redken Guts 10 Volume Spray Foam.
Talk about a session styling dream team!
