How to create elastic-less boho braids

Boho braids are easy to create and Cindy Duplantis, Sam Villa Ambassador, Redken Artist and Celebrity Stylist for Chatters Salon @cindyduplantis, puts her twist on the look with a convenient elastic-less version – see the how to tutorial below.
- Create a centre part on natural textured hair and place dent-less clips on either side to keep the part clean.
- Refresh curls with a Sam Villa Artist Series 2-in-1 Marcel Iron and Wand 1”. Increase volume by wrapping hair up and over the curling wand.

Take out dent-less clips, pinch a small section of hair around the face on either side of the part and apply Redken Powder Grip 03 just to the ends of the section to add fullness and hold.

Create a three-stand braid.

When braiding, do not untangle ends, a reverse braid will start to form from the bottom.

At the end of the braid, make a loop and flip the bottom of the braid through. Pull down to secure twists and ensure the braid will lay flat. Ta da, one elastic-less boho braids how to. See the tutorial video here.
