The Freelance Hairdressers Association (FHA) is continuing its support of the industry with a range of new online education opportunities for freelancers through online Zoom sessions.
Having used the video-calling platform for regular meetings and education sessions with guest experts throughout lockdown, FHA has decided to continue hosting online seminars to assist freelancers in need of guidance.
These new seminars for FHA members will cover topics including colour, business and setting out alone as a freelancer, and will be hosted by a range of FHA educators.
Also available are guest sessions from sponsors Wella Professional, who will explore one core technique to boost salon’s colour offerings with express services, and business coach John Huscroft, who will discuss growing your business from existing clientele and avoiding loss of clients.
Sheila Abrahams, FHA founder, says: “Education is part and parcel of FHA membership and that didn’t change during lockdown - we just moved online. This new format has been a huge success with our members and actually makes training even more accessible to everyone.”
“We’re excited to continue this momentum throughout the remainder of 2020 with the essential education our members need to grow and thrive - and we’ve got more to come.”
The sessions began last Monday (24 August) with the Refresh and Update Your Colour Knowledge seminar.
