Hob hold 35 year anniversary show hob uncut in london

HOB Academy hosted their annual HOB Uncut event earlier this month, to a sell-out international crowd of hairdressers, press and special guests. Held for the third consecutive year at Proud Camden, the concept of the show was this year shaped around the HOB Salons 35th Anniversary. 14 models were cut and styled live on stage by Akin Konizi and his team, showcasing 35 years of iconic HOB looks, and then giving each one a modern interpretation to demonstrate how the styles have evolved into current trends. Sean Nolan, head of technical, was also up on stage to describe the thought process and application techniques behind his colour work, which he described as ‘quintessential HOB’ - silvery blondes, raven blacks and statement bolds, shaken up with the addition of some animal print. The HOB Creative Team are available for bespoke education bookings at salons across the UK and internationally, and will also be delivering a programme of courses at the HOB Academy throughout 2019.
