Following their big win at L'Oréal Colour Trophy last year Mai Ha and Emma Beveridge from Trevor Sorbie Manchester have picked up the award for Cut & Style at the International Colour Trophy.
They fended off competition from 31 other countries at the ceremony held in Paris in front of 2000 people. The competition was judged but a team of industry experts.
"We are absolutely thrilled for the Trevor Sorbie Manchester team to have been named winners of the L'Oréal Colour Trophy ‘Cut and Style Award’ at the global 2019 L'Oréal Colour Trophy competition," says Monica Teodoro, general manger of L'Oréal Professionnel.
She continues, "Both Emma and Mai are truly representative of some of the most exciting talent we have within the UK industry. Their winning look perfectly embodies Emma’s skill for creating strong fashion-forward colours and Mai’s aptitude for styling art-inspired images. A huge congratulations to them both on behalf of everyone at L’Oréal Professionnel."
On their win Emma said, "We had the best time in Paris taking part in the International Style & Colour Trophy and so pleased to have won the Cut & Style award. Congratulations to all the winners, especially to our Irish friends, Brown Sugar, who came 3rd overall. We can’t wait to celebrate with the TS team back home!"
For this year's UK L’Oréal Colour Trophy, the Trevor Sorbie team has four entries through to the regional awards for this year, with entries from the Manchester, Bristol and Covent Garden salons.
