Salon supplies raises over £6,000 for hair and beauty charity

Salon Supplies has raised £6,135 for the Hair and Beauty Charity through its Pietranera sales over the past 12 months.
Salon Supplies, which has almost 50 years of experience with supplying and supporting professionals in the hair and beauty industry across the UK in-salon, in-store and online, led a 365-day campaign giving a percentage of all Pietranera furniture sales to the Hair and Beauty Charity. The aim of the campaign was to help provide financial support to those most in need within our industry.
The Hair and Beauty Charity is the official charity for the hairdressing and beauty industry. It provides an independent service dedicated solely to helping hair and beauty professionals. The individuals the charity helps are at the heart of everything it does.
In 2020 alone, the Hair and Beauty Charity saw a 148% increase in requests for help from people with nowhere else to turn and increased its financial contributions to those in the hair and beauty industry by 70%.
Salon Supplies furniture manager Lee Hamilton said:
It was great to see Hair and Beauty Charity Trustee Jayne Lewis-Orr last week to present Salon Supplies’ contribution to The Hair and Beauty Charity. I am thrilled that we have been able to raise such an incredible amount for such an important organisation, despite the closures of the past year. It is even more prevalent now than ever that we need to support those that are vulnerable within our industry.
The Hair and Beauty Charity provides financial support to those living tough lives due to illness, disability, domestic violence or other difficult circumstances. So far, they have helped thousands of people live a better life.
Salon Supplies has been supplying and supporting thousands of Hairdressers and Beauty Salons since 1972. Salon Supplies is predominantly a hair and beauty wholesaler but it is also involved with all aspects of the industry from events and education to business support and finance, and with the past year being one of the toughest ones yet, Salon Supplies is proud to be involved in aiding and contributing to such an important charity.
