New sebastian professional cult team announced for 2020/21

A group of six creative hairdressers have been chosen to form the new Sebastian Professional Cult Team for 2020/21. For the first time ever, the applications were open to all salons who stock Sebastian products. Following an initial online application, 24 applications were then selected for a live audition in one of the four Wella studios. Each hairdresser had two hours to create a show-stopping look to demonstrate their styling knowledge and skills. In addition, they were also judged on their presentation skills and potential platform ability. The six new team members are: Sam Millard, Avant Garde Hannah Grogan, Foundation Luigi Altomonte, Fratelli Hair Gemma Noon, The Vinery Hair Salon Samantha March, Twist Hair & Beauty Stephanie Gallagher, Wonderland Dom Capel, Sebastian Professional UK brand ambassador said, “The Cult team is an engaging opportunity for any hairstylist to further their experience as a Sebastian Artist, and truly immerse themselves into the creative world of Sebastian Professional Education. We provide experiences that will not only allow the team to explore their creativity, but also have the opportunity to network with likeminded people who are emerging in the fashion and creative industries.” The new team will experience an 18-month mentoring program. This will enable each member to try different modes of hairdressing education to further their careers. They can expect a minimum of 10 days of mentoring from industry leaders, covering topics such as wig make-up, media training, creative hairdressing skills, platform hairdressing insights, product knowledge, presentation guidance and session hairdressing. The program will also include opportunities to represent Sebastian Professional live on stage and valuable time with some of Sebastian’s leading artists and industry mentors.
