Medusa announce creative hair show: medusa in session
Edinburgh-based salon group, Medusa, have announced a creative hair show happening at the end of January. To celebrate a successful 2022 and inspire a new year, the team are hosting a complimentary event, open to all.
Held in the newly opened Virgin Hotel on the city's iconic Victoria Street, friends, peers and colleagues are invited to get up close and personal with the creative Medusa talent. The evening will be full of inspiration, presentations, skills and techniques that can be taken back to salons and clients. There will also be live photographic work from the team that finalised for the British Hairdressing Awards Artistic Team of the Year in 2022.
Regulars on stage, the Medusa Artistic Team will showcase their creative work which was shortlisted for a section of accolades in 2022, while the Educational Team will be representing the best in Scottish hairdressing. Managing Director, Colin McAndrew commented: "We want to bring all our friends, new and old, from across Scotland together to celebrate our industry. We hope to make this an annual event where everyone in the industry, regardless of position or experience, can come together and feel inspired for the year ahead. Join us in bringing some much-needed creativity to January. Our industry is amazing, so let's get together, celebrate and give back."
While Medusa In Session is a complimentary event, donations are welcome. Ticket donations will be split into two charities: Hair & Beauty Charity and Choose Love.
Suggested donation amount; Stylist £10, Assistants £2.
