Avant-garde hairstylist anne veck teaches fellowship masterclass

The ClubStar art team spent a day with Anne Veck in an avant-garde masterclass, exploring technical skills and creativity for innovative results, which are perfect for stage work, shoots and competitions. Anne Veck is renowned as one of the best avant-garde stylists in the industry, making her an ideal choice for hosting this masterclass for the Fellowship for British Hairdressing ClubStar art team. The day, which was hosted at the ghd studio in Soho, London began with looks from Anne’s most recent collection, Toxic Fashion. Anne shared the creative process, inspirations and techniques behind the looks, giving an insightful glimpse into the method of creating an avant-garde collection beyond the bare technical skills. After getting to the grips with the basics, the team set to work on model heads to create their own avant-garde looks with Anne’s guidance. Team member Sam Arnold said: “Understanding how we can incorporate some of these techniques into our own work for shows and collections was incredibly engaging. The best thing I learnt was how you can create different ‘fabrics’ with hair, something which always intrigued me.
