The Schwarzkopf Professional Young Artistic Team represent the very best of young hairdressing talent from leading Schwarzkopf salons across the country.
The newly formed 2013 team are about to embark on a year of education, training and inspiration. Here we get to know them better ...

Name: Gregor Hall Brown
Salon: LUMIA Hair and Beauty Spa, Stirling
Age: 23
Job title: Senior stylist
Qualifications: NVQ Level 2
Top career moment: Being picked for Young Artistic Team 2013.
Biggest hair icon: Vidal Sassoon
What does being a part of the team mean to you? A lot - I will be pushed out of my comfort zone and become a better hairdresser for it. I love meeting new people and can't wait to raise my profile in the industry. It's definitely the highlight of my career so far.

Name: Kelsie O'Connor
Salon: Hensmans, Northampton
Age: 23
Job title: Hensmans creative stylist
Top career moment: Becoming a member of the Schwarzkopf Young Artistic Team.
Biggest hair crush: Fearne Cotton. She is a massive trend-setter, not afraid to push boundaries and always changes her style.
What does being a part of the Clynol Protégé Team mean to you? So much - I put in a lot of time and effort preparing for the competition, researching and practising for the presentation. I am very excited for the coming year and so eager to learn.

What does being a team mean to you? So much - it means that I get the chance to prove myself as a hairdresser, to learn and to grow as a person too.

Top career moment: Winning Best Gents at the Schwarzkopf Professional Creative Competition, as well as joining the YAT.
Biggest hair icon: Akin Konizi - his work fascaintes me. It's beautiful with great techniques.
What does being a part of the team mean to you? I haven't stopped smiling since I heard I was chosen! I've worked very hard for the past seven years and now it's all paid off; it's a dream come true.

What does being a part of the team mean to you? Being a part of YAT is an amazing opportunity. When I first received my letter I was absolutely ecstatic. I couldn't believe it - I was so excited! Being a part of the team means the world to me and I am so excited for the year ahead.
