Great lengths' partnership with the little princess trust Champions of creating ethical and superior quality hair, Great Lengths are proud global partners with children’s charity the Little Princess Trust; the partnership allows extension wearers to change lives and restore the confidence of young people through the donation of used Great Lengths hair, which is then created into wigs. Great Lengths UK & Ireland have supported the Little Princess Trust charity for seven years with hair donations. This year, they’ve seen extension donations from celebrities such as Luba Mushtuk, Dianne Buswell, and Hofit Golan - and the charity confirmed a total of 2,000 wigs have been created in 2022 with help from 250 Great Lengths donations. The wigs are provided free of charge to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. And due to the hair’s premium quality and ethical practices, Great Lengths are the only hair extension brand which is accepted by the Little Princess Trust. The exclusive partnership has allowed the luxury extension brand to take on exciting new challenges this year to raise money for the charity. In July, the Great Lengths team went the extra mile and put their pedal test to the power by cycling 500km over three days in a London to Paris Bike ride. Jonny Welch, John-Paul Sherley-Price and James Henderson, salon owner of @mhairnottingham and Great Lengths Global Little Princess Trust Ambassador took part in the bike ride, which helped towards raising £60,000 to fund pioneering and life-saving research for the children’s charity. Joscelin McCourt, CEO of HB Collective (Home of Great Lengths) says: “We’re proud supporters of the Little Princess Trust and this year the team have taken on great challenges to show their support for the charity. The Little Princess Trust does such important work, and we will proudly continue to raise funds, awareness, and give back to a good and inspiring cause in 2023.” Check out more fundraising success within the hair and beauty industry here.
