When the Olaplex range launched back in 2014 it revolutionised the salon menu. Now a chemical service isn't complete without a bonding treatment. The brand has brought out a range of products for colour and chemical service clients to maintain their hair at home and they have just added another product to the line-up – No. 0.

What is Olaplex No. 0?–

This products is the first step for clients to repair and protect their hair at home, kind of like a primer. It's recommended that it's used in combination with the Olaplex No. 3 to intensify the results. "Once I’ve used Olaplex in the in-salon service I really love my clients to take this 2 step system home with them so they can continue to repair their hair at home from any further damage they may do (i.e. thermal, environmental) and this really continues to work in synergy with the system I’ve already started for them," says Victoria. Recommending the 2 step regime during an initial consultation is something that Victoria suggest for new clients. "I love this as a pre-prep system for clients who maybe new to me – it’s a great way to get them improving the condition of their hair so it’s in a really good place when I come to colour it – making my life much easier as a colourist- after all healthy hair is much easier to colour."
